Wolverhampton Wanderers Raul Jimenez is being linked with a move to Manchester United and his manager Nuno Espirito Santo admits anything can happen.

The January transfer window is open, and while little movement has actually transpired the rumor mill is in full swing.

Manchester United are expected to be busy after their inconsistent start to the season.

Plus their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he may try an bring in a new face or two.

After another solid performance against the Red Devils for Wolves, forward Raul Jimenez has emerged as a surprise target.

Both he and his teammate Ruben Neves are linked with moves away from Molineux Stadium. United are apparently interested in both.

However, after the game, it was Mexican Jimenez who was the topic of conversation.

In their post-match interviews after the game, Goal reported both managers being rather coy and non-committal on whether a possible deal was in the pipeline.

Espirito Santo may have Wolves fans concerned with his comments.

He said:

“It’s the first time I heard it. Ole didn’t mention anything about that.”

“But the transfer window is open. When it is open, anything can happen.”

Solskjaer added fuel to the fire by failing to dismiss the link.

He added:

“[He’s] another good player we’ve been linked with and he came on and did well.”

“But I cannot comment on these situations.”

Neither did anything to refute the speculation if anything they added fuel to the fire.
