Former Chelsea forward talked about using email and how he didn’t even have one until recently.

Joe Cole is famous as one of England’s most talented players in the 21st century.

The Englishman has 182 appearances to his name in Chelsea shirt, totaling to more than 500 appearances throughout his career, with most of them coming in the Premier League.

And while he repeatedly showed his brilliance on the pitch, Joe Cole isn’t as talented off of it.

Cole told a funny story about creating an email address just two years ago! Talking to Back on the Net show, Cole remarked:

“I don’t think it’s weird at all, but I’ve only had an email address for a couple of years, I was completely off the grid.

“I only wanted it because someone needed to get in touch with me… I rung my agent and said ‘listen, how do you do this email game?’

“He ran me through it on the computer and it took about two hours!”

Commenting on his former club, Liverpool, Cole added:

“This team’s got everything, they’re fully equipped to win the league, but more importantly I put them now as firm favourites because I can see little weaknesses with City.

“With Liverpool we’ve had to trawl for half a weakness. If they don’t win the title they’ll go down as the best team not to win it.”

Joe Cole spent a year at Liverpool, where he didn’t play much. This prompted a loan move to Lille, which then resulted in changing the teams by the season.

Finally, Cole retired in 2018 playing in the USA.
