Morata only has seven goals in 21 games for Chelsea in all competitions this season. He scored 15 in 48 in the 2017/18 season.

Alvaro Morata has struggled to impress at Chelsea this season, but Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba would welcome the forward if the “rumors are true.” Morata, 26, is reportedly being sought after by the Catalan club following Luis Suarez’s injury.

Jordi Alba, who’s played with Morata in the Spanish National Team, said he would welcome the former Real Madrid star.

“Morata is a player that I appreciate a lot, he has been a top player for many years,” he said on Thursday, according to Goal.
