Jordi Alba has handed Barcelona a massive boost ahead of the El Clasico after the full-back returned to full training.
Jordi Alba handed a major boost to Barcelona on the eve of El Clasico as the Spaniard made a return to first-team training.
The full-back was forced off 22 minutes into the game against Getafe earlier this month.
He suffered a right abductor injury and was ruled out for a while.
But with Barca side finalizing plans to take on Real Madrid at the weekend, Alba was spotted in training as seen on the club’s Twitter account.
Although the 30-year-old only joined in the first part of the session as he works his way back to full fitness.
Injuries have affected Barcelona’s season and while they are top of LaLiga, getting key players back to fitness is the focus for Setien right now.
Alba completed the first part of the session and is reportedly days away from being up to speed.
His return is a welcome boost for the club as he could now feature in the club’s second leg Champions League tie against Napoli.
