There have been no private discussions between Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho regarding a potential Juventus move, claims Joao Santos.
With his long-term future at Chelsea in the dark, Jorginho has heavily been linked with a switch to Juventus.
It is understood that Frank Lampard is in the process of revamping his squad. And Jorginho, who has fallen down in the pecking order under him, could be one of the players to be sacrificed to make way for summer transfer targets.
Elsewhere, Juventus are reportedly keen on bolstering their midfield options. And Maurizio Sarri wants to reunite with Jorginho, having worked with him at Napoli and Chelsea.
The Italian midfielder’s agent however refuses to disregard the rumors entirely although insists there has been no formal approach for the transfer yet.
Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss: “Sarri has never called Jorginho personally to talk about Juventus.
“I know there’s talk in the papers, but we have never had direct contact with Sarri or even director of sport Fabio Paratici.
“Everyone knows there is a very strong rapport between Sarri and Jorginho after five years of working together, I’d be a hypocrite to deny that. But I also want to remind you that Jorginho has three years left on his Chelsea contract.”
