Former AC Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka confirmed that he will return to the Serie A with Parma
The Slovakian midfielder previously played in Italy between 2011 to 2017 for Genoa and Milan before opting to leave for Turkish side Trabzonspor for an annual salary of €2.25m in a three-year contract.
But things haven’t gone quite so well for Kucka this season in Turkey with just eight appearances in Trabzonspor’s 17 Super Lig games.
The 31-year-old has been restricted to just two starts in the league and he’s now opted to end his 18-month spell at Trabzonspor in favour of a reported three-and-a-half-year contract with Parma.
“I’m happy to be here, Parma convinced me in every way,” Kucka told Sky Sport Italia, via Football-Italia.
“I hope to start over better than when I left [Italy]. The somersaults? I do less of them now as I’ve got older, but I’ll always try to score goals.”
The Slovakia international managed 13 goals and 11 assists in 181 Serie A appearances for both Genoa and Milan.
