Jose Mourinho is planning a squad overhaul, and Andrea Pirlo is interested in bringing in one of the players that could leave north London.
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly given Juventus his seal of approval to pursue Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso.
According to Calciomercato, Tottenham are planning to make additions to their squad when the transfer market reopens in the summer. And in order to make space for new signings, Jose Mourinho is willing to part ways with some of his current players.
Lo Celso is one such expandable player for Mourinho. The Argentine has been tipped for an exit from the north London side in recent months, having struggled with injuries and lost favor under his manager.
The 24-year-old midfielder is now attracting interest from Juventus with Ronaldo also keen to have him as a teammate.
Spurs, however, do not want to make much of a loss on a player who they bought for €30 million from Real Betis, having signed him initially on loan in the summer of 2019 before making the transfer permanent in January 2020.
The Premier League club demand at least €25 million for the former Paris Saint-Germain man.
While the price tag seems fitting for a player of his quality, Juventus might still not be able to afford Lo Celso due to their weak financial situation during times of crisis.
