Juventus have three free transfer targets next summer, all from Manchester United.
Manchester United have three key players all out of contract next summer, and fierce rivals Juventus are monitoring the situation carefully.
Goalkeeper David de Gea, defender Eric Bailly, and midfielder Nemanja Matic will be free come agents in the summer of 2020.
In fact, they will free come January to negotiate pre-contract agreements with any team from outside of the English Premier League.
According to Talk Sport, all three players are going to be targeted by Serie A giants Juventus if the opportunity arises.
Juve are the kings of the free transfer.
Recent transfer windows have seen them pick up the likes of Emre Can from Liverpool, Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal and of course Adrien Rabiot and Gianluigi Buffon from PSG.
Davis de Gea will be the main concern to United. Arguably the best keeper in the world when at his best. This is not the first time that De Gea has taken contract negotiations down to the wire.
It is understood that there is a five year 350,000 pound a week contract just waiting for his signature. There has been talk the deal is done but not an official statement.
Eric Bailly is currently out until the new year with a knee injury. His time at United has been somewhat hit and miss.
While United won’t want to see a player of his potential and value alk away for nothing, it is likely negotiations will be easy and take place once he proves his fitness.
Matic was an expensive acquisition from Chelsea, and there were questions raised about paying 40 million for an almost 30-year-old when the deal was done.
He has been frozen out recently by new manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer, but in a recent press conference said:
“I work as hard as I can, we respect the decision, it is mine to show him that he was wrong and to bring me back to where I belong.”
“There is no problem. I told him I disagreed with him, but that he had to decide the team.”
Juventus are apparently ready and waiting for January 1st.
