Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace crushed Lazio at the Allianz Stadium, putting Juventus within the reach of their ninth consecutive Serie A title.
Serie A leaders Juventus played host to Lazio in the 34th round of the 2019-20 Serie A campaign.
After pretty slow opening 45 minutes of the game, the Bianconeri started off the second half on a high note, netting twice in only three minutes, with both goals coming from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star scored yet another penalty kick to open the scoring in the 51st minute and doubled the lead only 3 minutes later thanks to a lightning counter-attack ran by Paulo Dybala.
Lazio as well earned a penalty kick late in the second half, as Ciro Immobile converted it to level himself with Ronaldo on Serie A’s top goalscorers list. The two strikers have now netted 30 goals in the season so far.
