A goal and an assist from Cristiano Ronaldo saw the Andrea Pirlo era off to a flying start with a 3-0 win over Sampdoria on Sunday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo carried on from where he stopped last season with a laudable performance against Sampdoria in Juve’s Serie A opener.
Much of the talk was on how the Bianconeri will shape up under Andrea Pirlo and the result and performance looked promising altogether.
Kulusevski grabbed the first goal of the Pirlo era with a neat strike into the far bottom corner in the 14th minute. A brilliant combination with Ronaldo laying that assist resulted into a goal. It was also the debut for the Swedish midfielder and one he could be pleased with.
Ronaldo almost got a second soon after but saw his shot hit the crossbar. The game carried on with Juve dominating until late in the second half.
Bonucci was spot on to tap home from the rebound after a saved header from Weston McKennie.
Ronaldo, who played as a center-forward, finally got a goal of his own in the 89th minute after a brilliant pass from Aaron Ramsey.
