Matthijs de Ligt’s father has tipped Juventus as one of the destinations for the Ajax skipper but noted they’re not the only team seeking for his services.
The Bianconeri are interested in the centre-back, who was given a tour of the Allianz Stadium when the Netherlands played Italy in a friendly game last summer.
Yesterday, De Ligt was crowned the Golden Boy of European Football, and Tuttosport spoke to his father after the ceremony.
“Juve could be a possibility, but they’re not the only team interested,” Frank de Ligt said in a quote cited by Football Italia.
“Now we’re focusing on this season with Ajax. Turin is a beautiful city, I came here for the Netherlands match in June too.
“In the next few months, I, my son, and [agent Mino] Raiola will make the best decision for his future.”
Another club interested in the service of the young Dutch player is Madrid and both sides were paired in the draws of the Champions League last 16.
