Sporting director Fabio Paratici confirmed that Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey
The 28-year-old midfielder will likely end his decade-long stay at Arsenal in June after the club withdrew a contract offer on his expiring deal.
Now that we’re in January, Ramsey is free to begin talks over a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs as he enters the final six months of his current deal at Arsenal.
It’s understood that five major European sides are all interested in signing Ramsey for free this summer with Juventus among them.
Now Paratici has confirmed the Serie A champions are indeed keen on the idea of taking the Wales international over to Turin for next season.
“Yes, we are interested in Aaron Ramsey,” Paratici told Sky.
“He’s a great midfielder but at the moment he’s an Arsenal player. We will see.”
Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo has given the move his approval and expects greats things from Ramsey in Italy.
Since arriving from Cardiff City in 2008 for just £5m, Ramsey has since managed 62 goals and 63 assists in 355 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions.
The Welsh star has won three FA Cups at the club, which also saw him score the match-winner in two of those finals.
