Juventus scored in the third minute of regular time and the third minute of injury time to secure a 1-2 win at Lokomotiv Moscow.

Aaron Ramsey’s goal in the third minute got the Bianconeri off to a flying start.

Moscow goalkeeper, Guilherme could not hold on to a Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick, the ball, in fact, spilling through his legs.

Welshman Ramsey was on hand to pounce on the loose ball, and give his side the lead.

Lokomotiv Moscow 0 – 1 Juventus.

According to the BBC, the visitors dominated possession, with 69 percent of the ball.

But in terms of attacking prowess, Lokomotiv and Juventus were fairly evenly matched.

It was an open game that saw both sides go all out to win.

It only took the hosts nine minutes to get back on level terms, as Maurizio Sarri’s defensive woes showed their ugly head once more.

Miranchuk found himself with space to head the ball. His initial attempt beat Szczesny, only to strike the upright.

The Lokomotiv forward still had enough time to be first to the ball and prod the ball into the net.

Both sides continued to exchange glancing blows, as their respective keepers kept the scores all even.

That was until the 93rd minute when Juventus substitute Douglas Costa got on the end of a through ball from Gonzalo Higuain to secure all three points.

Final Score: Lokomotiv Moscow 1 – 2 Juventus.

The win books Juventus’s place in the knock out stages, but still with a lot to do if they are to lift the Champions League trophy in May.
