Fabio Paratici has spoken up on Cristiano Ronaldo’s future in the club while discussing Juventus’ transfers.

Cristiano Ronaldo narrowly missed out on the 2019 Ballon d’Or last night. The Portuguese finished third Virgil van Dijk and Leo Messi in the final standings of the award.

But the Juventus number-7 added two more awards to his trophy collection after winning the Serie A best footballer and Serie A best forward for 2019 last night.

Recently, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici insisted that the Portuguese ace is committed to stay at Juventus for the coming years. Paratici suggested that Ronaldo scooping up two awards showed the forward’s ambition and hunger for success.

“I smile because there are other problems,” Fabio Paratici said.

“He wanted this award [Serie A best player] because he is an ambitious person and he wants to show he is also the best here.

“In our opinion, he deserves the Ballon d’Or. He will be at Juventus next season, without a doubt,” Fabio Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.

“He wants to win another Ballon d’Or with us, and we support him.

“We won’t buy anyone in January. Not even player sales, with the exception of maybe Mandzukic,” the Juve sporting director concluded.
