Juventus’ Miralem Pjanic has warned Inter Milan not to get too carried away with being top of Serie A.

Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan side knocked Juventus off the top of Serie A this weekend and assumed a one-point lead at the top of the table.

Inter have been celebrating the achievement and rightly so have expressed their joy in what is a big deal.

However, midfield stalwart Pjanic has fired a warning shot at Inter, not to get too comfortable.

In an interview reported by Football Italia, he points out the reality of their rather small lead.

He said:

“We are a point behind, not 10.”

“The season is long and we are sorry for dropping points [on Sunday].”

“Inter are doing as well as we are.”

Juventus are not just concerned with the Scudetto but are after a major haul on all fronts.

He added:

“We will keep trying to win every game, pushing ahead day after day.”

“The first target was reaching the Champions League round of 16, next is the Suppercoppa Italiana and then topping the table.”
