Nikola Kalinic has completed his move from Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid to Italian Lega Serie A squad AS Roma.
AS Roma has signed a new player on a season-long loan, as Nikola Kalinic joins the Italian Lega Serie A club.
The footballer previously played for Atletico Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.
“It feels great, because I am joining a big club,” Kalinic was quoted by Football Italia.
“I am proud to become part of this team and this club.”
He added: “Roma has big history and I am very happy to be here.”
“Nikola has always been our preferred option, for his ability to both play as the main striker and to slot in alongside Edin Dzeko,” said director of sport Gianluca Petrachi.
“We believe that with his abilities our attacking unit is now well-rounded and we are confident he will show his quality once again in Italy.”
