Keylor Navas out of Real Madrid squad for Roma game

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas will not make a return to action for their Champions League match at AS Roma on Tuesday

The Costa Rica international was a no-show for Real’s humiliating 3-0 defeat at Eibar over the weekend due to a knee problem.

Navas has undergone stem cell treatment to help recover from the injury and had been tipped for a comeback in Italy.

But Real confirmed on Twitter that Navas has not recovered in time by omitting him from their 20-man squad for the Group G game against Roma.

Meanwhile, full-back Alvaro Odriozola is also out after sustaining a knee injury at Eibar.

Nacho Fernandez, Sergio Reguilon, Jesus Vallejo and Casemiro all remain unavailable for the Champions League holders.
