Kieran Trippier impresses for Atletico, whilst Spurs fans say, “Typical”

Kieran Trippier played well in his first La Liga game for Atletico Madrid, adding an assist to go with the performance.

Former Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kieran Trippier helped Atletico to their first goal of the season against Getafe. With a delightfully whipped ball that was nodded home by Alvaro Morata.

With such an immediate impact coming from the full-back, Atletico fans will be over-the-moon with their new man. It’s the Spurs fans however, we’ve had some fun with…

TYPICAL

All jokes aside though…

The Tottenham faithful have a point. With an inexperienced Kyle Walker-Peters currently filling the full-back role and a want-away star in Christian Eriksen. Mauricio Pochettino may have gotten this transfer wrong.

Do you agree with Pochettino’s decision to sell Kieran Trippier? Do you feel Spurs should have signed a new right back in the window? Feel free to leave your opinions in the comment section below.
