Jurgen Klinsmann has announced his ambition to return to coaching soon, after leaving his previous role with the USA back in November 2016

The former Tottenham star led Germany to the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup before leading the United States to qualification for the 2014 World Cup.

Since departing from his role in 2016, Klinsmann has been enjoying some time off and is now looking to return to management after the end of the World Cup.

“I will be back for sure,”the 53 year-old told German magazine Socrates.

“It’s a nice break right now, and I am enjoying it.

“I don’t know when I will take over a coaching job again. I am looking forward to the World Cup in Russia, and I’ll be active after that.”

The former Bayern Munich manager has also expressed his concern that the overall level of the Bundesliga has begun to decline with only Bayern and RB Leipzig remaining in both the Champions League and Europa League respectively.

“It’s a critical moment,” admitted Klinsmann.

“There is a certain contentedness following the 2014 World Cup triumph in Brazil and Bundesliga clubs’ good results in the Champions League.

“But the recent developments on the European stage are not a good sign. It’s important that everyone’s aware there is a lack of success.”
