Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool dug out a tight win against Tottenham yesterday as Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the whole match.
However, it wasn’t an easy win for Klopp’s men.
Tottenham pressed intensely towards the end of the match.
But the German manager thinks his team should’ve taken care of the business earlier.
“We had Robbo on the touchline completely free and had four players completely free in the box and hit the first defender… that should be a big chance,” Klopp said, quoting Daily Star.
“Let’s try it at least and we can still miss it. We have to talk about the performance there were a lot of good parts.
“We should have scored more goals that’s the truth. It’s not like I go for the boys now and say ‘you have to make this’ but we have to be honest.”
It looks like Klopp is still on full alert, despite winning 21 of the first 22 matches in the Premier League.
