Jurgen Klopp dismissed the possibility of Liverpool remaining unbeaten in the entire season
Jurgen Klopp’s men snatched a late victory in their last Premier League game. After Sadio Mane headed Andy Robertson’s cross in the dying minutes, the league leaders maintained their superb run of form.
Liverpool comfortably sit at the top of the table. While the next best team, Manchester City, are six points behind them.
Despite grabbing a win in all but one of their fixtures, Klopp feels it is not possible for Liverpool to stay undefeated. The German believes his team needs a change in mentality if that were to happen.
Alan Shearer: “This Liverpool team don't do defeats, do they? 28 matches in the league unbeaten. It wasn’t a great performance but they kept believing, their mentality is incredible, to keep going and in the end, they found a way." 🤩🔴

“It is not possible if you play like we did until we conceded the goal. It was not bad, it was actually the opposite, it was good football, but it was not the winning mentality we need,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
“It’s probably not possible, but we don’t think about it, to be honest. We think about how we can win the next game and the next game.”
Jurgen Klopp insists The Reds should learn from their past mistakes.
“We still have to learn and improve and sometimes you have to get knocks and we got knocks. For little mistakes we got knocks but in the moment we could sort it.
“It’s not that we didn’t deserve to win, I’m fine with the performance but there were moments I didn’t like.
