Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool march on towards the club’s first Premier League title in more than 30 years.
Today’s win was all but easy for Klopp’s men.
Even though it looked like a breeze after Van Dijk scored a brace – it wasn’t.
Alisson Becker complicated things with his bad run outside the box. He defended the ball with his hands, earning himself a red card.
Liverpool’s reserve goalkeeper, Adrian, came on to replace Alisson. Despite making an amateur mistake that saw Lewis Dunk score the free-kick, Adrian did make two saves until the end of the match.
Jurgen Klopp was particularly impressed with Adrian.
“We brought on a frozen goalkeeper, pretty much. Everybody sitting here is probably not really warm yet, and then you imagine you go on in shorts, a really thin shirt and some gloves which are not made for keeping you warm, and then, some people let the free-kick happen,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
