Liverpool were leading 2-0 against West Bromwich Albion away from home but at the end of the game, they conceded twice and they have got just one point for a draw.
Jürgen Klopp was angry after the game as he was unhappy with two things – the first one was the condition of the pitch as it was getting drier and drier in the second half and he also criticized the performance of the referee.
The German coach spoke about these two issues as he said, according to Independent:
“I know what people will think about it if I say it, but the pitch got drier and drier, which is not an advantage for the football-playing side. You could see that with the second chance Danny had.”
“Was it a penalty? Yes. Hegazi on Ings is a red card? Yes. I think the same, we agree. So you can see it, I can see it, but that’s not important. All that is important is what the three or four gentlemen with the whistles think.”
