Former RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl believes that Jurgen Klopp will certainly be “grateful” for acquiring Naby Keita this summer
The Guinean midfielder is set to join Liverpool in the summer and will officially complete the transfer on July 1 for a fee in the region of a reported £52.75m.
Keita has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 39 appearances this term as Leipzig finished sixth in the Bundesliga.
Whereas Klopp has led Liverpool to a fourth-place finish in the Premier League this season and is currently preparing the squad for Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Hasenhuttl, who left Leipzig at the end of this season, was full of praise for Keita.
“He joins a crazy team. But, if I’m not scared of a player getting through in any club in the world, it’s Naby,” the Austrian told Bild.
“Because he’s just so good. And a professional through and through, he lives football. Jurgen will be grateful for this signing, even if he wins the Champions League.”
