The team is short of wingers after Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben have decided to leave the German Bundesliga current champions.
Bayern Munich is still the biggest name in the German Bundesliga tournament.
But when the Bavarians compete in Europe, they have failed short lately because of the lack of better players.
Now they are short of wingers after Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben have left the team.
Which is why they want to sign France international Ousmane Dembele, according to Bayern boss Niko Kovac.
“Dembele is a great player,” he told Sport.
“He could help us with his qualities, as we have seen with the German national team and Man City.”
“If Barça finally brings Neymar back from PSG, it could increase the possibility of reaching an agreement for Dembele,” he added.
“It’s always the same. Currently, we have to fight against state-backed clubs and millionaires.”
He concluded: “It’s no longer a fight between clubs. Now there is Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Dubai, who have more money than a club like Bayern.”
