The Portuguese footballer will be used a lot during April, said the Bayern Munich coach after being asked if the team would sell him.

There have been some rumors that Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches would leave German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich soon.

According to the rumors, the 21-year-old would move to Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1, in order to swap him for midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

But the Bavarians’ coach Niko Kovac has said he wants to keep Sanches for the upcoming months.

“It’s true that PSG was and are interested,” Kovac told the press according to Bavarian Football Works.

“But I said clearly that Renato will not leave. He is doing very well right now & I don’t want to let him go.”

“I know that Paris is in need of midfielders but that’s not our problem,” he added.

“Renato will play a lot of games this season, especially in April when there will be nine games to play in that month.”

“We experienced that in the first half of the season when we had some injured players,” Kovac continued.

“And we now can’t afford to lose any players… we have to stay competitive.”

Sanches started his professional career in 2014 with Benfica B, but the next year he was playing with the A squad regularly.

He joined Bayern in 2016 but was loaned for a year to Swansea City where he only played 12 matches.

Now he’s back at Munich where he is not considered a team regular.
