Layvin Kurzawa is on the verge of completing his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Arsenal.

Due to Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac injuries, Arsenal are being forced to play with makeshift fullback Bukayo Saka on the left-back position.

As a result, the Gunners are linked with PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa.

Layvin Kurzawa’s contract with the French giants will expire at the end of the season. Hence, PSG fear that they could lose him for free. And, as reports suggest, Arsenal are already working on signing the Frenchman.

After the recent draw against Sheffield United, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta claimed that the club was in dire need of fullbacks and hinted that they were looking to bring in some reinforcements in January.

“We are playing with full-backs that are not full-backs,” he said.

“They are wingers or central midfielders and could we afford to lose full-backs? No, but we don’t have any full-backs.”

According to reports from France Football, Kurwawa has already agreed on personal terms with Arsenal. The reports suggested that the negotiation between both parties has reached a very advanced stage. It also said that PSG were asking for a fee between €5 million and €7 million. But Arsenal are unwilling to pay such an amount.
