After yet another stellar performance in Ligue 1, it’s clear that Kylian Mbappe is Manchester United’s greatest menace for next Wednesday.

We are running out of labels for Kylian Mbappe’s greatness, the 20-year old did it again last Saturday vs Caen in Ligue 1 by scoring the two winning goals that granted his squad a new victory before getting a visit by Manchester United.

The Champions League is set to continue this week with the quarterfinals’ second legs, with the French giants coming to their match vs the Red Devils with a 2-0 advantage on the aggregate.

Kylian Mbappe is set to live another crucial match in which Neymar is still not around, he has been proving that Paris Saint-Germain doesn’t really need the Brazilian player if they have either he or Angel Di Maria.

The Argentine player has also been a great lifeline for PSG during these difficult times, but he has only been small support when you compare him to the numbers that Kylian Mbappe has delivered so far this season.

The French wonder kid has already reached an impressive 24 Ligue 1 goals this season, he is only one goal behind Lionel Messi in the fight for the Golden Shoe and he has already reached insane numbers with PSG in only his second season.

Since he arrived in Paris Saint-Germain last season, Kylian Mbappe has already played 76 matches in all competitions with his new club. Since then, the French forward has already scored 50 goals and delivered 28 assists.

These numbers are on the same level that Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi have during his prime, these stats describe a player who already is on the level of the other two monsters and his age suggests that he will only improve with time.

The upcoming challenge for PSG is Manchester United, beating the Red Devils on Wednesday will give Paris Saint-Germain the chance to play the tournament’s quarterfinals and possibly get even further in the competition if they have this young player still at the top of his game.

Despite what Nasser Al-Khelaifi says about his young star remaining at PSG, there is no doubt that several clubs will come to tempt him next summer, he is the one who has the final say in regards to his future and an offer from Real Madrid could easily persuade him from leaving his current club in search of more glory with the Spanish giants.

We have discussed this many times about Kylian Mbappe, he is not a winger like Messi or Ronaldo.

This French kid is an authentic killer inside the box, he is better compared with Brazilian Ronaldo and manager Thomas Tuchel recently spoke about it during an interview with Rio Ferdinand that The Mirror picked up.

“The guy is hungry and he has a big personality at 20-years-old, really big,” said Tuchel during the interview.

“So this is not always easy because the big personalities don’t always take the easy way. He’s challenging me as a coach for sure and at the same time he’s a super nice guy.”

“For me it is necessary that he has this kind of personality. To challenge me, to challenge everybody around him because he has the hunger to be a really special player in history.”

“For me he is a striker. He is not a (Lionel) Messi. He can be the best striker in the world and he’s on his way there. (Brazilian) Ronaldo is a good example. I had never actually thought about this comparison but that is a good one. I would agree.”
