Uriel Antuna joined the Citizens in the summer of 2017 but has been loaned twice: to Eredivisie club Groningen and to LA Galaxy in the MLS.
Uriel Antuna is having a great time in the Major League Soccer (MLS) competition in the United States.
And the Manchester City footballer, who was loaned at the start of this year to the Californian club, wants to return to the Citizens when the season is over.
“I decided not to continue there because of the I was not playing so much,” the Mexican was quoted by The Manchester Evening News as he talked about the time he was loaned to the Dutch Eredivisie.
“I did not have minutes to play, so it was not so much that Groningen rescinded my contract, we from City and I decided not to stay there because it did not help me to continue growing.”
“Bad feels for one side and more for what I was living, not only did not play, played with the second team, lost confidence, lower your level of play and what I needed most was to play,” he added.
“Right now I’m doing well. I’m playing, the next year we’ll see the opportunities that can be given if God wants [for him to return to City] why not? One of my goals is to return to Europe.”
“One is gaining confidence, is doing things, until now I do not have a limit to say until here I want to arrive, I want to be one of the best players in the world, it is nothing else to reach the maximum level, I always want more, I never give as defeated,” Antuna concluded.
