La Liga president Javier Tebas has taken to social media to rejoice at UEFA’s action against Manchester City.

Javier Tebas is not a vindictive man, he just wants a fair playing field.

Tebas has been a vocal opponent of clubs spending beyond their means and using rich owners to subsidize outrageous spending.

The main recipients of his tongue lashings have been Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Today Manchester City were on the receiving end of a two-year ban from all UEFA competitions and a 30 million Euro fine

Thus when the news broke of this groundbreaking punishment Tebas was publicly rejoicing.

He is hoping more action to follow with the likes of Paris Saint -Germain. The La Liga president believes similar irregularities are present in their accounts too.

Some may suggest that he is just jealous. But the response would be of what?

Spanish sides have dispatched of both PSG and Manchester City in recent years while sticking to UEFA’s the Financial Fairplay rules.
