Lampard played at Chelsea when Carlo Ancelotti was the boss, back from 2009 -2011.
Together they won both the Premier League and the FA Cup.
He witnessed the quality and experience of the Italian tactician.
Lampard’s side’s qualification was confirmed too after a victory of their own.
The Chelsea boss speaking after his own game, reported by chelseafc.com, acknowledges the class Ancelotti demonstrated even in such a difficult situation.
He insists he is the very best there is.
Lampard feels Ancelotti can go anywhere in the world and succeed at the very top level of football.
