Frank Lampard has moved to rubbish talks, at least for now about any possible deal for Angel Gomes or Declan Rice.

Angel Gomes appears destined to be leaving Manchester United and will be available on a free. While Declan Rice is being touted as the next great England midfielder and wants out of West Ham United to fulfill his ambitions.

It appears that 19-year-old Gomes is not happy either with his prospects at United or the deal they offered him perhaps even both.

His contract expires today and he is free to leave Old Trafford.

Premier League rivals Chelsea have long been touted as a possible destination.

However, manager Frank Lampard insists there is nothing to it.

According to Goal, he said:

“I can elaborate to the point that it’s never been mentioned at my end, so that’s it.”

He was then asked about onetime Chelsea youth player Declan Rice.

Lampard added:

“Declan Rice is a good player you’re right, and I’ve known him for a long time, he was in the Chelsea academy.”

“But there’s no talk, I keep saying, about every player we’ll be asked about.”

The Stamford Bridge faithful should not give up hope of wither prodigious talent joining up with the Blues, as there was quite a significant “until” in their manager’s closing statement.

Lampard concluded:

“Until these games and this season is finished, there’s nothing to say.”

Roman Abramovich has already splashed his cash at Chelsea committing to by both Ziyech and Werner for close to a combined 100 million Euros. Who else will arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer?
