Frank Lampard is hoping to expect the results of the appeal on Chelsea’s transfer ban very soon.
Chelsea was hit with a transfer ban for two transfer windows following their violation of the rules regarding the signing of young players.
As per reports by FIFA, Chelsea breached 150 rules laid down by the organization.
“The committee firmly believes that this type of conduct cannot be tolerated,” FIFA said in their report.
As a result, the Blues were unable to make new signings before the start of this season. Moreover, Frank Lampard will also miss out making new additions to his squad if their ban gets ensured.
But Chelsea made an appeal to the Court of Arbitration last month for the reconsideration of their transfer ban.
“The Fifa disciplinary committee wrongly found that the Premier League Games Programme (PLGP) constituted organized football,” the appeal read.
Recently, Frank Lampard updated regarding the result of the appeal. The manager suggested that it was just a matter of days before they hear about their progress.
“Very soon I believe, days I think,” Frank Lampard was quoted by Independent.
“I haven’t heard any more. So I would wait and reserve judgment [on Chelsea’s plans for January] until we get the judgment and see where we want to go from there.”
