Time to talk about Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez, the man who is destined to replace Mauro Icardi as the Internazionale Milano star in the future.
Now that Mauro Icardi is going through a difficult moment against Internazionale Milano, the club really needed a savior and they got their response quite soon through young striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Racing Club product took a little while to get in form with the Italian giants but he’s been performing well in the last couple of matches and he’s scored important goals, the man just scored the winning goal for Inter on this Thursday’s Europa League’s match against Rapid Vienna in the tournament’s Round of 32 first leg.
Lautaro was also coming fresh out of scoring the winning goal against Parma that helped the Nerazzurri remain strong in the third position of Serie A just ahead of AC Milan, but still far from Juventus or Napoli after 23 matches played in the competition.
Today’s Europa League game was essential for Inter’s aspirations to get some silverware by the end of the season, they will play the return leg with that one-goal advantage thanks to Lautaro’s goal from the spot after a penalty was awarded for his side during the first half of the game.

Martinez is the one player who is destined to become Argentina’s top striker for the upcoming decade, his type of talent can be rivaled to that of legendary players in the same position such as Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Batistuta, and Hernan Crespo.
Lautaro arrived at Internazionale Milano with the purpose of becoming one of the squad’s top players and to learn everything he could from Mauro Icardi, his compatriot who has already become the club’s most important player and the team captain.
But Mauro isn’t really living up to the expectations lately, he is setting a bad example to Martinez and the young star seems to have decided on following his own path as a professional.
At only 21 years old, Martinez is another one of those precocious players from his country who have the potential of becoming one of the world’s best players and Internazionale Milano is not thinking about letting him leave anytime soon.
The journey has just begun for Lautaro, he has big plans for the future with both his club and his national team.
Perhaps the biggest objective this year will be to feature in next summer’s Copa America, this year’s international tournament that will take place in Brazil.

It’s still unclear what the future holds for striker Lautaro Martinez, but he could very well become Internazionale Milano’s best player if Mauro Icardi eventually decided to leave the club next summer.
The constant rumors that link manager Jose Mourinho to the Nerazzurri club is one of the biggest motivations that this player has for the near future, he would benefit so much from a manager like Mou given that he has always been a player with a low profile who doesn’t really like the modern social media lifestyle that angers the Portuguese manager so much from many of the player’s he’s coached.
Lautaro is also one of the first in the line of an important number of strikers who are looking to become important for Argentina in the near future, it’s not only he who is currently being considered to fill the role that Gonzalo Higuain left vacant for the future.
Other strikers who are also competing for the position are Giovani Simeone and Mauro Icardi himself but Martinez is arguably one of the most talented players from that bunch.
