Check out our match preview and betting predictions for tonight’s Serie A encounter between Lazio and AC Milan.

Lazio face another tough test in the 30th Serie A round, as they welcome AC Milan in the Italian capital this evening.

The Biancocelesti are playing their best season in decades. They are chasing their first Scudetto since 2000 and sit four points adrift of leaders Juventus, who face city rivals Torino today at 17:15 (CET).

AC Milan, on the other hand, are having another average season, as they are heading to Rome from the seventh place on the table, fighting for a spot in the Europa League next season.

What to bet on?

Winner – Lazio

Lazio will definitely miss the Serie A top goalscorer – Ciro Immobile, who is suspended due to accumulated bookings for tonight’s encounter.

Simone Inzaghi’s side, however, demonstrated a massive winning mentality in their last two league outings, coming back from a goal down at half time, to earn all three points against Fiorentina and Torino.

They cannot afford to lose any more points in the title race with Juventus and we believe they’ll give their absolute best to win the game this evening.

Goals – Both teams to score & Over 2,50

Lazio and Milan are traditionally playing exciting games when they face each other at the Stadio Olimpico.

In each one of the past seven league clashes between the sides at this venue, both teams managed to find the net, while four of those games went over 2,50 goals.

Additionally, Lazio’s home games this season usually guarantee goals, as we’ve seen an average of 3,47 goals in the 15 games the Biancocelesti hosted in the 2019-20 Serie A campaign so far.

Goalscorer – Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Even at 38, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the best strikers in European football.

The Swedish forward made his return from injury in the 2-2 draw with SPAL last Wednesday and tonight he is in line for a place in the starting XI.

If Ibra starts in Pioli’s attack, we expect to see him do what he does best, which is scoring goals, of course.
