English side Leicester City are reportedly interested in securing the services of AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans this window.
According to a report from the Daily Mail via Read Leicester, , they have established an interest in signing the young Belgian international.
Tielemans is part of Monaco’s squad that has been unimpressive this term as they sit at the bottom of Ligue 1 table.
The 21-year-old remains a key player for his side, who recently re-appointed Leonardo Jardim following Thierry Henry’s disastrous stint at the club. He has made 20 starts in the top-flight this season.
A move out of the club would be seen as a huge relief for the midfielder who has scored five times for Monaco this term and has so far attracted huge interest from big clubs in Europe.
Leicester are keen to replace Vicente Iborra who departed the club earlier on this month, and Claude Puel could be out to add to his options, with the former RSC Anderlecht star touted with an arrival at the King Power Stadium.
