Leicester prevails as Tottenham’s poor form continues

Leicester managed to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat against Tottenham.

Tottenham’s awful league form from the start of the season continues.

Pochettino’s men lost all three points at an away match to Leicester, where Brendan Rodger’s side managed the 2-1 victory.

Tottenham took the early lead as Harry Kane used his instincts to put the ball into the net.

However, Leicester looked like the better side throughout the whole first half. Both of the teams had a goal disallowed each, with Pereira and Aurier having their goals overruled by VAR.

Leicester continued pushing up as Pereira managed to score, after all, tying the score in the 69th minute.

With both teams entering the final stages of the match carefully, Leicester’s number 10 took the ball and struck it into the net with a beautiful shot.

This goal killed off Tottenham’s energy, as Pochettino’s team couldn’t recover.

Paul Pogba, Manchester United, Premier League

Moyes believes Pogba is still “the best midfielder”

Paul Pogba has been suffering at Manchester United lately, but according to former Red Devils coach David Moyes, the Frenchman is still one of the best.

Leicester now sits in the second place, with Tottenham falling to fifth. This match could provide crucial to give Leicester confidence that they can fight for the European spots.

Furthermore, it might convince Gareth Southgate to give more minutes to James Maddison.

Tottenham will look to recover in the League Cup where they should get a comfortable win against Colchester.

Leicester will face Luton Town in the League Cup before hosting Newcastle in their quest for top six positions this season.
