RB Leipzig has apparently beaten Barcelona to the signature of Dinamo Zagreb’s Dani Olmo.
One time La Masia prospect Dani Olmo has apparently shunned his old club for a move to the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
Olmo was once on the books at Barcelona, but the young Spaniard went in search of regular football.
He ended up at Dinamo Zagreb where is has demonstrated ability that has caught the eye of several top clubs.
However, according to Goal, his Zagreb manager Nenad Bjelica toady confirmed he had chosen Julien Nagelsmann’s project at Leipzig over all the potential suitors.
“From the numerous offers he had, he picked Leipzig.”
“In my opinion, it is the best club for him to develop.”
“He wanted to say good-bye to his teammates [before leaving Zagreb’s training camp to go to Leipzig for his medical], but he could not.”
