Lewandowski is confident in his side and believes they have the quality needed to win the Champions League.
Robert Lewandowski has spoken out on his unforgettable Champions League night.
The Polish forward bagged four goals as a Dortmund player against Madrid.
That night set the tone for his move to Bayern where he has become one of the world’s best finishers.
With Lewandowski, Bayern have seen domestic success but the 31-year-old reveals he is still hungry for an European trophy with his side.
On the domestic front, many claims from the media suggest that Bayern are going through a decline.
Unlike recent years where they used to dominate by far, only a mere six points separates first placed Bayern and fifth placed Leverkusen.
Despite all of that, Lewandowski still belives his side can win the Champions League.
“The players feel more confident because they know what the trainer wants from them,” Lewandowski said as per The Guardian.
“The communication is much better. I still believe that one day we will play in the Champions League final and we will win it.”
The 31-year-old himself has been in stunning form for Bayern this season, scoring 23 league goals in 22 games.
