Liverpool is believed to have no interest in signing Jack Grealish in January.
Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has been putting up top-notch performances this season.
After almost playing two-thirds of the season, Aston Villa are stuck battling their way out of the relegation spot. With 21 points, they sit at the third last place in the Premier League table.
But if the Lions have managed to find one silver lining amid the turmoil, its Jack Grealish. Grealish has been a consistent performer for them having been involved in 14 goals this campaign.
As a result, the 24-year old has sparked interest from the top dogs of the league. Liverpool and Manchester United appeared to be keen on Grealish’s signing but, as BBC reports, the former have dropped their pursuit.
“Liverpool are believed to have no interest in signing Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
“Grealish, who was close to joining Tottenham in the summer of 2018 has been one of the shining lights at Villa Park this term and has been linked with moves to several other Premier League clubs.
“Both Manchester clubs have been mentioned as possible destinations for Grealish. But it understood that Liverpool, who have previously been offered the chance to sign the player, are not interested in him.”
