Liverpool have the most valuable squad in all of Europe’s top five leagues according to CIES Football Observatory.
Liverpool now stand as Europe’s most valuable club according to the CIES Football Observatory.
The Red’s recent success have seen them slightly overtake Manchester City to take the top spot.
This season, Liverpool still have a claim to remain there as they are still set to win the current Premier League campaign, all things going as planned.
With a value of €1.4bn euros (£1.27bn), Liverpool top the list ahead of Manchester City valued at £1.24bn as h/t by BBC.
The CIES use a number of variables including the age of the player, performances, economic value of their club and inflation to work out the values of players.
Moving further on the list, Barcelona and Real Madrid sit in third and fourth on the list respectively.
While Chelsea and Manchester United occupy the fifth and sixth positions.
PSG, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and Juventus complete the list’s top ten clubs.
Liverpool are on course to remain top of the list after winning this season’s Uefa Super Cup and Fifa Club World Cup. All things going well, the Reds would still be named Premier League champions as well.
