England national team dominated their qualifying group and they will participate in the final tournament of the Euro 2020.

Gareth Southgate intended for the England team to play a couple of preparation matches ahead of the tournament.

The final test will be Romania, in a match scheduled to take place on June 7.

However, due to the unavailability of Wembley that day, Southgate wanted to build up the support in the north, thus choosing Anfield.

But, there’s a big problem.

Liverpool issued a permanent ban to the Sun, newspapers notorious for blaming the Reds’ fans for the Hillsborough disaster.

Thus, according to Daily Mail, Liverpool won’t allow the Three Lions to play at Anfield as it would mean the inclusion of the Sun.

In the days of widespread capitalization and chasing the money, it’s nice to see a club actually taking the stance to protect their own.
