Liverpool are keen on signing Kerem Demirbay and are considering meeting the release clause of the Hoffenheim midfielder during the January transfer window.
The Reds are considering rekindling their interests in the 25-year-old Turkish-born German international who, according to Tbrfootball, has a £28 million release clause.
Talks are on-going regarding a potential deal for the 25-year-old who shares management representation with Sadio Mane and Naby Keita.
Demirbay has a contract with Hoffenheim that’s runs until 2021 and will be available for Liverpool if they meet his £28 million release clause.
Liverpool has faced Demirbay before during the champions league qualifying clash with Hoffenhiem at the start of the season. Jurgen Klopp has in the past worked with Demirbay when they were both at Borussia Dortmund.
Jurgen Klopp’s side was reported to have been linked with a bid for the midfielder earlier this year when Arsenal were also reported have been interested in him.
