Sadio Mane could be tempted to switch to Real Madrid within two years as he seeks new challenges, says Keita Balde.
Rumors linking Sadio Mane to Real Madrid have surfaced in recent times, as the forward approaches towards his fourth anniversary of arriving at Anfield.
Signed by Jurgen Klopp who had been on his trails for a long time, the most expensive African player of all time has been an influential member of the Liverpool team and has the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup triumphs to show for it.
Mane is tied to Liverpool until 2023, but that hasn’t stopped speculations from predicting his exit from the club sooner.
And Keita Balde, who plays alongside him in the Senegal national team, believes the 28-year old wouldn’t want to stay at Anfield for a very long time.
“We haven’t talked about football, really. I know he’s very good there. It depends on many things,” Balde told AS.
“I don’t know what his decision is. In a year or two, he may want to change. I don’t think he wants to be there forever.
“He is a smart boy and he knows what is good for him and what he has to do. But in Madrid, they are giving out many names.”
