Low reflects on his coaching career amid Madrid link

Germany boss Joachim Low has described the link to manage Real Madrid as an interesting proposition suggesting he needs to ponder about his future.

Low has experienced turbulent times in recent campaigns with Die Mannschaft having suffered a group stage exit at this summer’s World Cup and relegation from their Nations League.

The German gaffer has, however, confirmed he may need to reconsider his options for the future.

“My thoughts are now what I will do after this role,” Low has said, in quotes cited by Football Espana.

“I have been here for a long time and now I need to begin to think what role I will take after this job, and I would prefer not to continue in Germany.

“My future is likely to be abroad. Real Madrid? It would be an interesting option for any Coach.”

Low was one of a host of names linked to Los Blancos after Zinedine Zidane resigned from the position in June.
