Moura was Tottenham’s hero last season when he scored the hat-trick in the Champions League semi-final against Ajax which saw the Spurs go through to the final.
Lucas Moura participated in Tottenham’s 4-2 win over Olympiacos last night.
It seems as if the Brazilian is enjoying having Jose Mourinho on the bench.
However, Moura didn’t forgive Pochettino for leaving him out of the starting eleven in the Champions League final last season.
Thus, he spoke about his former manager last night.
“Everyone knows I am not a No 9, it is not my best position,’ Moura said, as quoted by Daily Mail.
“When Pochettino put me there I always gave my best because for me the most important thing is the team but each coach has one opinion, a different mind.
“Now I feel very good in this position (as a wide player). I always played in this position, I feel good and I am happy.”
Moura and Dele Alli seem to be the ones enjoying the new manager the most.
Mourinho’s man-management skills are coming to light yet again at the Spurs.
