The AC Milan footballer is happy after winning the 2019 Copa America Final with the Brazil national team after defeating Peru 3-1.
Lucas Paqueta was part of the Brazil national team that won the Copa America this Sunday evening against Peru.
The team defeated the surprise squad of the tournament 3-1.
And now the youngster is set to return to AC Milan for the start of the 2019-2020 Italian Lega Serie A season.
“This trophy brings me so much more experience and it lets me grow as a player,” he was quoted by Football Italia.
“I return to Milan with more confidence and awareness, ready to help the team achieve its objectives.”
“I’ll meet Giampaolo personally once I’m back from my holiday,” he added.
“Right now, I just want to rest because I come from a very intense season. After that, I’ll be focused on solely Milan.”
He explained: “I know how Giampaolo likes to play. I followed his work at Sampdoria and I was really happy with his arrival in Milan.”
“I hope I can help the Rossoneri and also do my bit in his formation, which is also good for me.”
