Luka Jovic is 21-year old Serbian striker and with his excellent performance in the Bundesliga is already linked to a big move to Barcelona.
On 28 May 2014, at the age of 16 years and five months, Luka Jovic made his professional debut for Red Star Belgrade in the Serbian SuperLiga. And it didn’t take him too long to show his talent and score the first goal of his career, as the young Serbian netted only two minutes after he was brought on as a substitute.
With the debut goal, Jovic broke Dejan Stankovic’s record as the youngest goalscorer in a competitive match in the club’s history.
In October 2014 Luka became the youngest player ever to play in the Eternal derby between Red Star and Partizan, at the age of 16 years and nine months.
Jovic played 48 games and scored 13 goals for the European Champions of 1991 and signed for Benfica in February 2016.

He played for the second team in general and appeared in only four games for Benfica’s senior side during his two seasons in Portugal.
In June 2017 the Serbian striker joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a two-year loan. The Bundesliga turned out to be the perfect place for him, as he has scored 22 goals in 41 appearances so far.
Luka Jovic won the DFB-Pokal in his first season in Frankfurt, and score the deciding goal against Schalke 04 in the semi-finals. That was the first trophy in 20 years for the club.
Nico Kovac was the head coach of Eintracht during the last season and Jovic believes that the Croat is the most important man for his success in Germany.
I needed someone like Nico Kovac, he woke me up and I owe the success I have now to him,” the Serbian striker said. “It was because of him that I became a complete professional again.”
The 21-year old is having the season of his dreams and he is the current top scorer of the Bundesliga with 14 goals, ahead of Bayern’s star – Robert Lewandowski.
