Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku didn’t like the way his team played against Slavia Prague, and he assures the Nerazzurri will be ready against AC Milan.
Internazionale Milan and Slavia Prague tied 1-1 in the first Group Stage match of the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League.
And striker Romelu Lukaku didn’t like the way his team played, but he says they will be ready for the derby against AC Milan this weekend.
“The first half was very hard for us because Slavia played at such a high tempo and pressed us,” Lukaku said after the game according to Football Italia.
“In the last 20 minutes we created lots of chances to score, but it wasn’t the perfect game today because we didn’t win.”
“We have to work hard to improve this season. As a team, we have to work hard every day to do what the Coach wants because we have the ability to do really well, but we need to work hard every day,” he added.
“We’re a great team and anyone who comes up against Inter knows it will be difficult for them.”
“We’ll be very well prepared for the game, for sure,” Lukaku concluded.
