Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is set to miss this weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers after sustaining an ankle injury.
Lukaku has been in scintillating form in recent weeks, notching in six goals in his last four matches, his goals against Southampton and PSG has kept United in the hunt for the top four spot and Champions League campaign respectively.
It’s believed he sustained the ankle injury in the Red Devils 3-1 comeback over PSG last week and may have aggravated it in the game against Arsenal.
The 25-year-old Belgium international may likely face a lengthy spell on the sidelines which would see him miss the Wolves game and Belgium’s upcoming internationals against Russia and Cyprus.
According to Sports Mole, the former Chelsea forward is expected to return in time for United’s quarter-final clash early next month.
Other players that are currently in the treatment room are Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.

Anthony Martial is back in contention after featuring in the game against Arsenal last weekend.
United are chasing silverware on two fronts but the FA Cup presents a realistic hope of winning a trophy considering the opposition in the Champions League.
The last time both teams met under Mourinho, Moutinho cancelled out Fred’s effort to secure a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
